Skunk2 Racing’s “Tuner Stage 2” Camshafts are designed as a performance upgrade to lightly modified vehicles. These camshafts will outperform HOT factory cam swaps (mixing OEM cams) and Skunk2 Tuner Stage 1 camshafts from idle to redline with no loss in drivability. A great match for vehicles with intake, header, and exhaust or motors that have been turbo/supercharged. Tuner Stage 2’s require a simple valve spring and retainer upgrade due to the additional lift, duration. Ideal for hot street cars and road race cars.
Independent tests have shown average gains to be in the neighborhood of +22-25 horsepower. Tuner Stage 2 cams are an easy install but we highly recommend checking all critical clearances and degreeing for peak performance.
